I’m a fan of minimalism – the practice of owning only the most essential of items for daily life, and down-sizing those non-essential items that I choose to keep. Where I can replace one or two items with a multi-function item, I do.
One trend that’s been making its rounds online via YouTube ads and more, are minimal wallets. I shopped around for a while and read/watched many reviews on the topic, but ultimately found a solution that I feel is more practical: the fat rubberband.
I have been using this method for the past 3 or 4 years, and it’s been everything I need in a wallet: it holds my essentials together, slips easily into any pocket, and doesn’t slip out due to the friction from the rubberbands. I think I’ve had to replace the rubberband only a handful of times.
